HRMS Support Specialist

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform customer service functions by answering customer requests and ad hoc questions.
  • Implement and ensure adherence to security and data standards.
  • Ensure system testing is performed according to testing policy and standards.
  • Provide first-line support on the system after completion of the implementation project.
  • Troubleshoot system errors.
  • Advise client’s business and core application team in utilizing HR Avenue features and supported functionalities.
  • Follow up on unresolved issues via online support system and ensure resolution within agreed SLA.

Skills & Competencies Requirements

Technical / Functional / Hard Skills:
  • Experience supporting HR applications by responding to user calls, emails, or trouble tickets.
  • Experience testing systems for bug fixes and enhancements, with strong analytical skills to resolve end-user issues.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships and provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to communicate and present complex issues and analyses effectively.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of SQL Server and SQL scripting.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Behavioural / Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Exercise good judgment, tact and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Committed, dependable and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

  • Degree in IT / Computer Science.

Other Advantageous Experience

  • Familiarity with HR-related IT business systems and applications is a plus.
  • Ability to quickly understand user requirements, explore multiple approaches and suggest optimal solutions.
